Cookie Policy

weave uses two essential sign-in cookies and a little browser storage for your preferences. Nothing tracks you.

Last updated 2 November 2026

1.What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, keep data on your device in the same way. This page lists every one weave uses.

2.Cookies we use

weave sets only strictly necessary cookies, which keep you signed in securely. Both are httpOnly, so no script in the page can read them, and both are sent only over encrypted connections in production.

Cookies set by weave
NamePurposeDuration
access_tokenProves you are signed in on each request.15 minutes
refresh_tokenRenews your session without asking for your password again. Only sent to the sign-in endpoints.30 days, or until you sign out

3.Browser storage

Local storage used by weave
KeyPurposeDuration
themeRemembers whether you chose light or dark mode.Until you clear it
letter-template-draft:*Keeps an unsaved letter template draft so you do not lose work.Until the draft is saved or discarded

4.What we do not use

No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, and no third-party analytics. Because everything we set is either strictly necessary or a preference you chose, we do not show a consent banner. If we ever add a cookie that needs consent, we will ask before setting it and update this page first.

5.Controlling cookies

You can view and delete cookies and storage in your browser settings. Blocking the two session cookies will stop you signing in, since weave cannot verify who you are without them. Signing out removes them.
